Panels first, obviously. Then ridge cap along the peak, and inside and outside foam closures — the closures are the single most under-ordered item in this trade. Eave trim and rake trim at the edges. J-channel where panels terminate against a wall. Gable trim. Screws, sized to your purlin spacing and ideally colour-matched. Pipe boots for any penetration. Butyl tape where laps need sealing.
Foam closures fill the profile of the rib at the ridge and eave. Without them, wind-driven rain tracks straight under the panel and into the building, and insects and birds follow. They cost very little and they are the difference between a roof that keeps water out and one that mostly does. Cheap closures compress permanently and stop sealing after a few seasons — this is a place to spend.
Length depends on whether you are fastening into purlins, decking, or over existing roofing. Painted-head screws with bonded EPDM washers matched to your panel colour are standard. Quantity is driven by purlin spacing and panel count, and running short mid-roof is a genuinely bad afternoon. We calculate it rather than letting you estimate.
